A soy sauce bottle that solves one very ordinary annoyance — the drip that runs down the side after pouring.
Made in Yamagata, Japan, this glass bottle has a precisely fitted glass stopper with a grooved spout that lets soy sauce flow in a fine, controlled stream and stop cleanly when the bottle is returned upright. The stopper and bottle are individually ground to fit closely together, helping prevent liquid from running down the outside.
The slightly warm-toned glass, faceted sides and reassuring weight give it the character of an old Japanese table object. Each one is made by hand, so small bubbles and subtle variations in the glass are part of its making.
